It's time to take the "hard work" out of building character in your content!

HAPPY International PODCAST DAY to podcasters and podcast fans! #internationalpodcastday This year has really been a HUGE year in my personal podcasting journey! I've connected with TONS of fellow podcasters -on my show, guesting on theirs, and everything in between! I launched my second podcast Content with Character in May and have released an episode a week since, for a grand total of 22 episodes to date 🔥. I've interviewed 30 guests so far for the She Built This @shebuiltthispodcast! 🔥 I've guested on 27 shows this year 🔥 And I feel like I'm JUST getting started! Pictured are just a few of the many podcasters I've been lucky enough to meet over the past year and/or deepen my connection with this year (some I'm lucky enough to call FRIENDS ❤️). You deserve lots of cheering on, and gratitude for inspiring me each and every day! Some people's love language is Roman Empire, feudal lords, and visigoths... ((as @the.joyfulpreneur and @elyse_myers and I well know)) And then there's podcasters. Tomorrow is #internationalpodcastday and I'll be singing my praises for some of the many things podcasting/podcasters have brought into my life! ❤️ I'm all queued up and ready to GO with some of my favorites to accompany me on my weekend adventures and errands! How many times have you been on a call with someone, in a conversation, met someone at a networking event, or hired someone to help you and... They kept on nodding their head like a bobblehead, making it appear or pretending they were listening and interested but... 🤪 You're pretty sure they weren't. They didn't hear you or address your specific needs and concerns, didn't offer up any sort of bridges of connection, and didn't make individualized recommendations that would help support Y-O-U. I kicked off today with a new client of mine and Robyn White @rdwdesignstudio and at the end our client exclaimed, "I feel like someone's finally listening to me!!!" Everyone's always just given her generic guidance, cookie-cutter copy, and she's ended up facing a site that doesn't really feel like HER. Our client wasn't just "feeling" it, we really WERE listening deeply ((and will continue to throughout the website project)). If you don't get that feeling with someone you've hired to help YOUR unique business succeed, maybe it's time to bless and release! ((and hire people who listen and care instead)). I've got recommendations for you for just about any service under the sun if you need em'! 🔥

The day has come... to lay my unicorn socks to rest. Before I start dreaming up NEW stuff for my business... I like to take a really good, hard, honest look at ALL the stuff that's already going on, and gone on. This is the business equivalent of pulling out EVERYTHING in my closet, finding all the socks with holes, the things I never wore in the first place, and letting them go. And of course, keeping the things I LOVE ((like those rust-red cigarette pants)). 💃🏻 When was the last time you did this in your business with your marketing and visibility efforts, your content creation, and your messaging? When was the last time you pulled out EVERYTHING you're doing and creating and all. that. effort. you're. putting. in. in. all. the. places. and asked yourself, "What's really working for me and what's not?" 🦄 "Where are the holes!?" If it was recently, YAY you. I hope you made some changes and took action so you can be more intentional in your marketing efforts moving forward. If it's been a while, it might be time to giddy up and TAKE INVENTORY with me! Well technically, you can do it on your own.
