How many times have you been on a call with someone, in a conversation, met someone at a networking event, or hired someone to help you and...
They kept on nodding their head like a bobblehead, making it appear or pretending they were listening and interested but... 🤪
You're pretty sure they weren't.
They didn't hear you or address your specific needs and concerns, didn't offer up any sort of bridges of connection, and didn't make individualized recommendations that would help support Y-O-U.
I kicked off today with a new client of mine and Robyn White @rdwdesignstudio and at the end our client exclaimed, "I feel like someone's finally listening to me!!!"
Everyone's always just given her generic guidance, cookie-cutter copy, and she's ended up facing a site that doesn't really feel like HER.
Our client wasn't just "feeling" it, we really WERE listening deeply ((and will continue to throughout the website project)).

The day has come... to lay my unicorn socks to rest.
Before I start dreaming up NEW stuff for my business... I like to take a really good, hard, honest look at ALL the stuff that's already going on, and gone on.
This is the business equivalent of pulling out EVERYTHING in my closet, finding all the socks with holes, the things I never wore in the first place, and letting them go.
And of course, keeping the things I LOVE ((like those rust-red cigarette pants)). 💃🏻
